Seat Belt Buckle Lot (8 Pcs). 68 Cadillac Eldorado lot of 8 seat belt buckle halves, including five (5) female receivers (all are stamped RCF-65) and three (3) male buckles (one standard one, and two with spring clips). None of these are complete belts – all of their fabric belts have been cut off. The buckles are all in decent original condition, with reasonable shine overall but a few small rust spots here and there (see photos). The buttons on the female receivers areall the Cadillac crest variety, and they all push in and spring out as they should. As removed from a’68 Eldorado parts car. I expect they may be common to other models of 1968 Cadillac, and possibly some or all of 1967 1969 1970 Cadillac as well, but I’m not 100% sure of which. Corvette / Sunbeam Alpine / Tiger? Irving Air Chute IC-5000. Seat Belt Buckles & Male Ends (2). Seat belt pieces (both buckle and male end), matched pair, removed from a’62 Sunbeam Alpine Series II. This pair has a parachute logo with the “IRVIN” name on the buckles that I haven’t seen before. Bottom of one buckle has nice shine to the chrome with some minor pitting/surface rust; the other buckle is a fair bit of rust through the chrome finish. Tops of the buckles have more wear to the finish, but are fairly smooth to the touch (the one with rusty chrome also has the worse top side). The buckle with better chrome opens and closes with the male end as it should. The rustier one is seized shut. One of the male ends has nice shine and just a couple of small rust spots. The other male end has a fair bit of its chrome worn off. The fabric portions of the belts have been cut and are incomplete (will need to be totally replaced).
